Time to Register Student Chapters and A Call to Mission

Register or Renew Your CMA Student Chapter for the 2023-2024 School Year!

Novus Medicus is looking to update its database of school CMA chapters. If you are a member of a local CMA student group, please email Ashley Best, our Regional Director Committee Chair, at novusmedicus@cathmed.org to complete the application/renewal process and to connect your chapter with the appropriate regional director. We also ask that you fill out this Novus Medicus Student Section Check-In Form.  Thank you in advance for your help in serving our community and connecting students to local groups and resources!

Calling All Physicians Board Certified in Texas!

The Missions Committee of Novus Medicus is looking for physicians and other medical professionals (PAs, NPs, PTs, nurses, etc.) to join us for our 2nd annual mission trip serving in Harlingen, TX from April 7-13th, 2024 with Culture of Life Ministries. This organization offers free Christ-centered medical care for those in need. Our mission trip is a medical student organized trip that is primarily advertised to medical students, but we would love some faithful Catholic doctors and professionals to join us!

The trip costs only $500 and will include some days working at Culture of Life Ministry’s free clinic and other local community organizations along with time for prayer, the sacraments, and fellowship/mentoring opportunities with medical students striving to practice within the context of their faith. General practitioners (IM, FM, Peds) are most needed as well as ophthalmology and optometry.
